Dear Greater Bethesda:

We wish to extend our heartfelt thanks to the Greater Bethesda Missionary Baptist Church membership for the wonderful Pastoral Installation Service on March 9, 2009.  The occasion was certainly an auspicious one and the church was just beautiful along with each of your spirits!

We would like to extend a special recognition to Dr. Frances Carroll and Marjorie Mims for chairing the event.  In addition Selena White-Vicks, Kathy Ellis, Rhonda Fleming, Henrine Sloss, Juanita Floyd, Milton Jones, Evelyn DeCuir, Carol Stanford, Karen Barbee Dixon, Edie Green, Addie Epps, Melvin Rollins, Antonio Davis, and Barry Jones are each deserving of our special thanks for their contributions to make this day a successfully one. We wish to extend a personal thank you to everyone that worked on the installation committee and also to everyone that pitched in even though they were not officially on the committee.  We were so pleased to see the church members pulling together to plan the event, design invitations, decorate the church, create keepsakes, host our guests, and prepare the reception.  Our love for our church and our fellow members was evident as we united in one spirit to accomplish this task.  To God Be The Glory!!

We were delighted to have so much of our Bethesda family join us to celebrate this historic event in our lives and in the life of Bethesda Church.  The presence of our ministry friends and mentors as well as our family and friends was certainly a delight. The feedback openly shared from the pulpit about the hospitality extended to visiting guests was heartwarming to hear.

We sincerely appreciate your generous wishing well gifts, your prayers, your hugs and kisses, and your kind words of encouragement.  We are excited about what the future holds for Greater Bethesda Missionary Baptist Church as we go onward and upward in Jesus Name!!
